Author Visit with Ellen Crosby
After the past two years we have been enduring, it reminded us why in-person events are so special. There is something so great about meeting the author and hearing her, or him, discuss their books. The passion they show for their work inspires readers to learn more about their characters and to go on this journey with them.
This past Sunday, we were glad to have Author Ellen Crosby come back and give our readers a look into the latest installment of her Wine Country Mystery Series, Bitter Roots. It is the twelfth one, and follows vineyard owner Lucie Montgomery and winemaker Quinn Santori's upcoming wedding when they are confronted by slowly dying vines and a nursery owner who denies responsibility the diseased plants. When someone is found dead at the nursery a few days later, everyone wonders if someone in the wine-making community went too far in the heated battle between suppliers and vineyard owners. Lucie needs to find out why her soon-to-be husband is keeping secrets from her and what he knows about the dead woman.
Oh, and Mrs. Crosby also let us know that she will be continuing her Sophie Medina series! We are looking forward to that and hopefully to another in-person event for that series.
If you missed the event, we do not have a recording of it, but we did host Ellen Crosby on our Podcast, Mechanicsburg Mystery Presents... in regards to her French Paradox book, number 11 in her Country Wine Mystery series for enjoyment.
Thank-you to Sherry Ickes for the photographs from the event. #mechanicsburg #books #ellencrosby #tbr #mysteries #pennsylvania #podcast #winemystery #mysterybooks #toberead #bookstoread #reader #wine #country
