Mystery Books at the PA Tea Fest 2022
The annual PA Tea Festival takes place near the end of September and is hosted by The Rosemary House and Sweet Remembrances. It is held in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania where people come from near and far to talk, learn, and sip tea with fellow tea lovers. However, there is more to the festival than just the tea, although that is the main purpose of it.
Located in the Literary Corner, attendees will find authors who give a talk as an independent bookshop (us) sells their books at a booth nearby. It doesn't get any better than books and tea folks! (Deb Beamer and Libby Klein pictured to the left)
This year had a little hiccups in the road, due to illness, but it was a delight to see Author Libby Klein again and to hear her tell us about her humorous cozy mystery series following a middle-aged widow named Poppy McAllister, and her cat. The seventh book just released this year, with number eighth coming out in 2023. And did we mention that her books include gluten-free recipes?!
The Tea Festival takes place on two days, and on Saturday, Author Sheryl C.D. Ickes was the morning author scheduled for 10 am. Her A Slice of Life Mystery Series gives readers a glimpse into the life of a bakery owner/amateur sleuth while her Rufus and Becky Cross-Country Mystery Series bring readers into the world of truck driving as a husband and wife team solve mysteries while going state to state.
At noon, Author Frances Powell discussed her books that take place in Ireland and England. She has over fourteen novels in total, with subjects ranging from paranormal to traditional to historical. All of the author's books are available for purchasing at our shop during our business hours, over the phone, or through contacting us online.
