Serial Crime: Writing Crime Fiction Series - Virtual Author Event
All three authors joined us for a virtual event, hosted by our bookshop and moderated by Author Matty Dalrymple.
Today we were so honored to have three great mystery and thriller writers in our latest Zoom Author Event. Matty Dalrymple, James McCrone, and Lisa Regan discussed the different concepts behind writing a series.
The authors went over topics such as if their characters were real, what would they drink at a coffee shop? It was interesting to hear what their characters would be like in the real world and to hear how they keep the readers engaged throughout a series, let alone themselves.
Our moderator, Matty Dalrymple moved the event along by asking the questions that ranged from techniques in writing to how their characters would act in real life.
